When music takes over…

The recent Silk Route concert in Gurgaon was a major hit with the crowd who just couldn’t get enough

Gurgaon witnessed an evening of musical extravaganza recently as one of the most popular Indian pop bands, Silk Route performed at a concert. The concert was a treat for the music lovers who turned out in large numbers to hear them. Performing at Fox restaurant, the group made the guests dance to their popular numbers. The guest’s enjoyed the live performance and crooned along with the badn on their favourite songs. The cheerful audience kept prompting for more with every song whether it was ’Dooba Dooba’ or ’Ganga Naha Lein’ or ’Boondein’. The band had to sing ’Dooba Dooba’ multiple times since their fans kept asking for more.

It was the band’s maiden performance in Gurgaon and they seemed to be very happy with the response. The group members were also impressed with the swanky and urbane look of the city. "The people here are passionate about good music and seem to enjoy every bit of it. They have been asking for more," said Mohit Chauhan, a band member. The guests at the concert also got a pleasant surprise when Shibhani Kashyap and famous Sufi singer Kadar Bhai made a special appearance during the concert. Kadar Bhai mesmerized the crowd with the popular song ’Allha ke Bande’ and Shibani Kashyap rocked the crowd with populars numbers like ’Zinda hu Mein’, ’Nahi Lagda tere bina’ and ’Sajna ve Sajna’.
